PREMISES MANAGER
THE MEADS PRIMARY SCHOOL
Salary scale: £21500.00 (Approx)
The Governors and Headteacher wish to appoint a reliable, proactive and highly organised Premises Manager to join our friendly primary school. This is a key role responsible for ensuring our site is safe, secure, clean, and well-maintained always, supporting a positive learning environment for pupils and staff.
This is a permanent post.
Contract: Part time.
Hours: 30 hours a week.
Days: 5 days a week – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Pay grade: Grade 5
We are looking for someone who:
- Has practical maintenance or caretaking experience (school experience desirable but not essential)
- Has a good understanding of health and safety practices
- Is reliable, flexible, and able to work independently
- Has good organisational and communication skills
- Takes pride in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment
- Is willing to undertake training relevant to the role

EYFS TEACHING ASSISTANT
Pay scale: Grade 03
Salary scale: £13352.00 (Approx.) Term time only
The Governors and Headteacher wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work with pupils in EYFS.
The ideal candidate would take up post on 1st September 2026.
This is a permanent post.
Contract: Part time, term time only.
Hours: 09:00 – 15:00
27.5 hours a week, plus a half hour unpaid lunch break.
Days: 5 days a week – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Pay grade: Grade 3

1:1 TEACHING ASSISTANT
Pay scale: Grade 03
Salary scale: £14567.00 (Approx.) Term time only
The Governors and Headteacher wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil in reception.
The ideal candidate would take up post on 1st July 2026 or as soon as possible.
This is a permanent post.
Contract: Part time, term time only.
Hours: 08:50 – 15:20
30 hours a week, plus a half hour unpaid lunch break.
Days: 5 days a week – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Pay grade: Grade 3
