The Meads Primary School
At The Meads Primary School, our aim is to provide children with a broad and balanced curriculum that develops the skills and attributes our learners will need in the 21st Century. Our curriculum encompasses our core values of ‘Challenge, Resilience, Ambition and Community’. The curriculum follows the National Curriculum and is planned to inspire and enthuse the children who attend our school, as well as ensuring it meets the needs of all pupils.
We aim to provide a high quality and purposeful curriculum with clear progression that deepens subject knowledge. It will also incorporate physical development, wellbeing and promote positive attitudes towards learning.
The curriculum will celebrate diversity, build a sense of community and enable children to understand the world beyond their immediate environment. Where appropriate, the children will be provided with optimum first hand experiences to enhance their learning. We also aim to support our pupils to become critical thinkers who are ambitious for their own futures.
